CNC Lathe For High Volume Production
Shimada was the developer of Japan’s first 6-Spindle automatic and offers the world’s only cam-less CNC Automatics in both bar-fed & chucker configurations. A 2-Spindle Indexer with 10” chucks is also available. Either is easily automated.
Also, Shimada four spindle, vertical or horizontal lathes maximize machining flexibility by simultaneously and independently working on parts in two spindles while the other two spindles are being unloaded and reloaded. All four spindles are mounted in a large carrier drum which can be indexed in as little as two seconds, virtually eliminating part load time. All the models can be easily automated.
